Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox went to her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She was a harpsichord student and flautist piano over 3 years. Lennox was paid a salary and part-time work to help supplement her income. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill when compared with her peers and contemplated a possible alternative path she might follow. Lennox performed flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. But she quit before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. Her main role was as the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. She met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox began work on Diva in 1992. It was her debut solo album. It was a massive success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out in October of 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favorite blues and soul jazz songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to the art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art named Now I Let You go... Medusa, a 1995 studio album features the cover versions of some popular songs like No MoreILove Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums as well as her compilation album have a lot of songs.
